Music

We have numerous bands and ensembles which train students in the lower school so that they will be ready for Symphony Orchestra.

Symphony Orchestra

We have a full Symphony Orchestra and performed Mozart's 40th Symphony in our School Concert in November 2006

Rock School

On Thurdays after school we have ROCK SCHOOL where bands receive tips and coaching from our resident guitar teacher.

The contemporary Jazz ensemble, AVENUE A, are a resident band and work on compositions with A level students as well as gigging at school

Kentish Opera

We worked with our link Opera Company Kentish Opera on their new production of NABUCCO by VERDI performed at the Churchill Theatre Bromley from 17th -21st April 2007.

Four 6th Form girls took part in the chorus. The musical director was the International conductor Mr Mark Fitz-gerald. http://www.kentishopera.fsnet.co.uk/

Old Bexley Music Society

We are working in conjunction with Old Bexley Music Society to bring a series of professional recitals to the Theatre.

The first of these took place on the evening of 7th February 2007 using our wonderful Bluthner Concert Grand piano.
