MEMBERSHIP
The Old Bexley Music Society was founded in 1949 to promote the appreciation of live music in the Bexley area.

The annual subscription is £25 per member (£5 for children and students) and it entitles members to six evenings of live music each season without further charge.

These six concerts will be held in the Townley Theatre, located in Townley Grammar School for Girls, Townley Rd., Bexleyheath. They are held on Wednesday evenings and start at 7.30 pm.
Visitors are welcome at single concerts at a charge of £7.

Members may also join the Society as Patrons for a minimum subscription of £30 for the season.

The music programme includes chamber music, instrumentalists, solo singers and choirs with encouragement given to upand-coming local musicians. The January concert each year is a Young Musicians Evening in which pupils of outstanding ability from local schools are given a platform to perform in public.
Coach outings are arranged for members to attend concerts at the Barbican Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and other venues.

The Society is a member of the Arts Council of Bexley.
